Expertise and Services
Dr. Christopher Pleatsikas has more than 20 years of experience serving as an expert economic witness and providing other expert services (e.g. serving as a consulting expert to attorneys and providing assistance to attorneys in preparing to cross-examine economic experts) in the context of civil litigation.  His areas of expertise include antitrust, competition policy and economic analysis of damages (e.g. contract and intellectual property disputes). Dr. Pleatsikas has a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. He has testified before numerous courts and administrative bodies both in the United States and abroad.
 
Antitrust/Competition Analysis
Dr. Pleatsikas has served as an expert on a number of antitrust and competition matters in the United States, Europe, New Zealand, and Australia. These matters covered a wide range of industries and competition issues. [Details]

Dr. Pleatsikas has calculated lost profits and reasonable royalties damages in cases involving allegations of copyright infringement, patent infringement and theft of trade secrets. [Details]

Dr. Pleatsikas has testified on numerous occasions on the quantum and theory of damages. These cases include contract disputes, intellectual property disputes and antitrust and unfair competition disputes. [Details]

Dr. Pleatsikas has considerable experience serving as a consultant - both in a litigation and strategic advisor context - to firms in the energy industries, including electric and natural gas utilities, electricity generators, electric, petroleum and gas transmission companies, and oil and gas companies.
